摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a reversible thermal recording medium for a density irregularity or contaminant due to erasing residue not to be evident by reducing the density difference between a color erased part and a skin part when the color developed image is erased in the medium utilizing the reaction of a color developing agent with a developer. CONSTITUTION: The reversible thermal recording medium comprises a recording layer containing electron donative coloring compound and electron acceptive coloring compound as main ingredients on a support, wherein the support is colored with dye or pigment.
