A system for conserving hollow spaces of metallic objects, in particular car bodies, by means of a corrosive material liquid during processing, has at least one anticorrosive agent reservoir and a collecting basin for excess anticorrosive agent that drips from the hollow space to be conserved. The object with hollow spaces to be conserved may be arranged above the collecting basin, and to reduce investment and operation costs the collecting basin is arranged on the reservoir.
