PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate prevention of a trouble of a component from being enlarged by a method wherein when one component of driving units is damaged, the remaining all driving units are synchronized in angle to reduce speed to a stop following a specific time function. SOLUTION: Printing cylinders 1.1-1.N not connected mechanically are driven with motors 2.1-2.N. Position generators of high resolution 3.1-3.N and signal generators 4.1-4.N are provided thereto. Those signals are inputted to driving control parts 5.1-5.N, and electric power is supplied to the motors 2.1-2.N via an electric power convertor. Further, a control part 6 controls axial positions of respective motors 2.1-2.N via the driving control parts 5.1-5.N so as to obtain angular synchronism. When a component of the positional generators 3.1-3.N or the like is damaged, the remaining all driving parts are synchronized in angle and reduced in speed to a stop state. The reduction of speed is carried out following a time function preliminarily determined by the driving part having the component detected to have a defect. Therefore, a trouble of one component can be made a single trouble without being enlarged. |
