<p>PURPOSE: To reduce a valve jumping rate and promote exchange of operation oil. CONSTITUTION: A cam side plunger 8 is driven by a cam shaft 16, for pressurizing operation oil in a hydrauli chamber 10. An intake/exhaust valve 2 is opened by a hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic chamber 10. When a pilot valve 21 is opened during lifting the intake/exhaust valve 2, hydraulic pressure inside the hydraulic chamber 10 is released to an accumulator 20. The intake/exhaust valve 2 starts seating action. The operation oil stored in the accumulator 20 returns to the hydraulic chamber 10 when a cam lift of the cam shaft 16 is lowered. In high speed rotation area, an opening/closing valve 6 is opened for discharging a part of the operation oil in the hydraulic chamber 10 to the outside from a hydraulic pressure releasing passage 35.</p> |
