PURPOSE: To obtain a grease composition for rolling bearing, comprising a mixture of diurea compounds having a specified composition as a thickening agent, capable of greatly prolonging the lubricating and flaking lives, etc., of bearings under high-temperature and high-speed conditions and useful when applied to electrical equipment parts of an automobile. CONSTITUTION: This composition comprises (B) 10-60 pts.wt. mixture of diurea compounds having a composition of (i) 25-90mol% diurea compound of formula I (R<1> is a 7-12C hydrocarbon containing an aromatic ring; R<2> is a 6-15C bivalent hydrocarbon containing an aromatic ring), (ii) 9-50mol% diurea compound of formula II (R<3> is cyclohexyl or a 7-12C alkylcyclohexyl) and (iii) 1-30mol% diurea compound of formula III and further 0.55-0.95 value of [number of R<1> s/(number of R<1> s)+(number of R<3> s)] in the mixture as an athickening agent based on (A) 100 pts.wt. base oil therein. A base oil, consisting essentially of a dialkylphenyl ether and/or an ester-based synthetic oil and having 40-400mm<2> / sec kinematic viscosity at 40 deg.C is preferred as the component (A). |
