<p>PURPOSE: To improve electric connecting ability between a feed terminal on the fusion controller side and an electrode metal fitting on the coupling body side by mounting a protrusion belt-form belt on one of joints brought into electric contact with an electrode metal fitting and a feed terminal. CONSTITUTION: An electrode metal fitting 13 of an electric fusion coupling 10 is provided with a pressure terminal 14 to connect heating wire 12. Further, the electrode metal fitting 13 has a protrusion belt-form belt 15 embedded in a stepped inside diameter part 13A. A protrusion belt-like belt 15 is rounded in a C-shape, a strip-form crest is formed at a central part, and a spring contact part is formed. When the protrusion belt-form belt 15 is inserted in the stepped inside diameter part 13A of an electrode metal fitting 13, as a result of the peripheral direction of C being forcibly contracted for insertion, this is spread by a reaction force and the belt fits the stepped inside diameter part 13A of the electrode metal fitting 13. When a feed terminal is fitted in the electrode metal fitting 13, reliable contact at a strip-form contact part is effected and besides the electrode metal fitting provides resistance for prevention of coming- off of the feed terminal during energization.</p> |
