<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a steering controlling system of a vehicle so that at least an optimum electrical connection between a steering angle detector and a controlling circuit which is achieved without using a wire harness. SOLUTION: A steering angle detector (a rear steering angle sensor 21) is disposed near a steering mechanism (a rear shaft 25 thereof), and at least a second controlling circuit (a servo unit SVU) integrally formed with the steering angle detector is also disposed near the steering mechanism. Then, an objective steering angle of wheels to be controlled for steering wheel (rear wheels 15 and 16) is established by a first controlling unit (an electronic controlling unit ECU), and an actual steering angle is determined based on a swang position of the wheels to be steered, which is detected by a steering angle detector, so that in response to deviation of the steering angle between the actual steering angle and the objective one, driving current to an actuator (an electric motor 12) is controlled by the second controlling circuit for controlling steering angle of wheels to be steered.</p> |
