<p>PURPOSE: To provide a steering angle ratio variable steering device for vehicles, in which the number of parts can be reduced and which can be miniaturized. CONSTITUTION: A recessed part 16 with a radius (r) is provided in a steering rod 14, and a rotary member 18 is rotatably inserted into the recessed part. A groove 20 is formed in the rotary member 18, and a cylindrical cam 22 is inserted into the groove. A steering main shaft 24 is eccentrically connected to the cam 22. When the steering main shaft 24 is rotated, the cam 22 is whirled to move the steering rod 14. When the rotary member 18 is rotated simultaneously with the rotation of the steering main shaft 24, the amount of movement of the steering rod 14 is reduced. Thus, the amount of movement of the steering rod 14, which corresponds to the entering angle of a steering wheel, can be reduced by rotating the rotary member 18 with the rotation of the steering main shaft 24, that is, the steering angle ratio can be variable.</p> |
