METHOD FOR BRAZING MAGNESIUM-CONTAINING ALUMINUM ALLOY

PURPOSE: To provide a brazing method having high reliability at the time of brazing a magnesium-contg. aluminum alloy by using a noncorrosive flux contg. fluoride. CONSTITUTION: This method comprises brazing the magnesium-contg. aluminum alloy using aluminum alloy brazing filter metal contg. potential decreasing components and more particularly at least one kind of metals among zinc, tin and indium. The brazing with the high reliability is made possible without the occurrence of grain boundary penetration by fluorine in the brazed parts.
