PURPOSE: To produce a simple and inexpensive fiber structure excellent in a mass feeling and moisture permeable performance, having durability, not damaging characteristics of a synthetic fiber itself constituting the fiber structure. CONSTITUTION: This fiber structure is impregnated with a resin. The resin is a cross-linked product of a protein. The fiber structure is obtained by impregnating a fiber structure, in which the cross-linking bond of the cross-linked product is a bond between aγ-carboxamide group as the glutamine reside of an amino acid constituting the protein and anε-amino group as the lysine residue, with the protein and transglutaminase and heat-treating the fiber structure to form an insolubilized product as the cross-linked protein in the fiber structure. |
