<p>PURPOSE: To disperse locally concentrated pressure and move a pressing section with the lapse of time by concurrently rotating rollers with a futon (Japanese quilt and mattress) or a mat placed thereon in opposite right and left directions for moving right and left the futon or mat, and changing a contact surface thereof with the rollers. CONSTITUTION: Rollers 1 fitted to a bed are rotated right and left on operation of a motor 2 or the like, and a contact area of the rollers 1 with a futon or a mat is changed, thereby varying body support positions. Also, the bed is provided with rollers 1 having a gear 3, and the rollers 1 are connected to each other with a chain 4. In addition, one of the rollers 1 is connected to a pulley 5 via the chain 4, and the pulley 5 is connected to the motor 2 via a rod. Then, circular motion of the motor 2 is converted to semi-circular motion of the pulley 5 by rotating the motor 2, and the rollers 1 are thereby rotated in clockwise and counterclockwise directions. According to this construction, the body support positions change with the lapse of time and occurrence of necrosis can be restrained.</p> |
