PURPOSE: To enable an elevating device to be disassembled and assembled at any time regardless of the position of a screw cylinder by receiving downward load of the screw cylinder and providing a locking means for regulating locking when a screw shaft is inserted through the interior of a fixed cylinder shaft by means of fitting a cylinder body in a prop between the screw cylinder and the fixed cylinder shaft. CONSTITUTION: When a cylindrical body 11 is fitted into a prop 3, a fixed cylinder shaft 25 is inserted inside the cylindrical body 11, a screw shaft 14 is inserted inside the fixed cylinder shaft 25, the bottom surface of a screw cylinder 16 abutts on the upper end of the fixed cylinder shaft 25, the cylindrical. body 11 is held to such height and a locking means A, which regulates locking of the screw cylinder 16 by a recessed and protursion parts 16a, 25a engaging with each other, is composed. Therefore, if a screw shaft 14 is rotated, the cylindrical body 11 makes a vertical sliding movement and such height can be regulated because the screw cylinder 16 is fixed by the locking means A. Furthermore, regardless of at what position of the screw shaft 14 the screw cylinder 16 may be, engagement of the recessed and protrusion parts 16a, 25a is disengaged and the cylindrical body 11 can be pulled out from the prop 3 only by pulling the cylindrical body 11 up, while, conversely, it can be put in an usable condition only by inserting the cylindrical body 11 into the prop 3. |
