<p>PURPOSE: To provide a rotary culture device for algae suitable for culturing algae, especially green algae. CONSTITUTION: This rotary culture device for algae consists of a main body of a culture device comprising a cylindrical or conic culture tank 4, plural condensing plugs 5 which are laid at the outer periphery of the culture tank 4 and have lens faces facing outside so as to put an outgoing light cylinder in the culture tank, a reservoir 10 set in the center of the culture tank, a line for supplying a nutrient solution to the culture tank 4 or the reservoir 10, a CO2 blowing line for supplying CO2 , a nutrient solution circulating loop 9 in the culture tank, connecting the culture tank 4 to the reservoir 10, and a product taking out line installed in the reservoir and a rotation driving device for revolving the main body of the culture device so as to make the center lines of the culture tank and the reservoir become a revolving shaft. Consequently, the distribution of light energy in the culture tank is uniformed and algae can be grown in high density.</p> |
