<p>PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of operation like incorporation and restrain the increase of the number of parts by forcing a race of a bearing into an inner tube part to regulate the move of a retainer caused by the pressure from a returning means. CONSTITUTION: A forward clutch piston 21 is advanced leftward by the hydraulic action to connectively press a plurality of clutch plates 9 and rotate an internal gear member 29. When the hydraulic action is removed, the piston 21 is allowed to retreat rightward by a return spring 11 to release the press of the plate 9 and turn off a forward clutch 17, while the forward clutch piston 21 returns again to the original position and a press force of the spring 11 is caught by a retainer 23. This retainer 23 is regulated with respect to the move into an inner tube part by forcing a race 25 of a needle bearing 24 into the retainer. Thus a snup ring needed for the locking of the retainer 23 can be omitted to reduce the number of parts.</p> |
