PURPOSE: To obtain an antimicrobial blank suitable for prints or documents requiring cleanness, by incorporating a pulp slurry with a loading material, other chemicals and an inorganic antimicrobial agent followed by conducting a papermaking process. CONSTITUTION: This antimicrobial tissue printing paper is obtained by incorporating a bleached pulp slurry with a specified loading material, other chemicals, and 1-20wt.%, based on the pulp, of an inorganic antimicrobial agent such as antimicrobial zeolite prepared by substituting at least one kind of metal selected from silver, copper and zinc for a part of the ion-exchangeable metal(s) in zeolite, followed by conducting a papermaking process. |
