PURPOSE: To easily install a road sign or the like on a side drain at the end of a road. CONSTITUTION: In a support structure of a sign board or the like supported by a post 11, at least the basal part 1a of the post 11 is shaped to form a pipe and a bar-shaped or pipe-shaped auxiliary member is fitted in the inside of the pipe-formed basal part 11a. The lower end of the auxiliary member is fixed to a base plate 13 in which fitting holes are made and further, the pipeformed basal part 11a and the auxiliary member are fixed together by a fixing tool piercing the pipe-formed basal part 11a of the post 11 and the auxiliary member. The base plate 13 is fixed to the upper end face of one side wall 21a of the side drain 21 and the upper face 22a of the side drain cover 22 by anchors 18, 19 through the fitting holes formed in the base plate 13. |
