The rigid cylinder (6) has a flexible membrane (7) at it's lower end which is used to support a rod (8). The upper end of the rod lies within the cylinder (6) and carries a magnet (5) which is immediately opposite to a Hall effect sensor (4). The lower end of the rod (8) is immersed in the fish breeding tank and bears a lure (9,10). When the lure is touched the rod moves and the magnet (5) operates the Hall effect sensor. A signal is then sent along a cable (1) to a feeding mechanism which distributes food. |
