<p>The users of the combination lock will have the opportunity of choosing their own combination and changing it when the time is right. A black box will be positioned in the car hidden from view from thieves and opportunists. It will be powered by its own battery as back up in case the main electricity supply is disconnected. The black box will store in memory the chosen combination and it will allow a certain amount of attempts in order for the user to choose the correct one before shutting down for a certain period of time. It will prevent anyone from using it until time has lapsed. The black box has different switches in order to change the combination (button, combination, mechanical key). They are positioned on the front of the box.</p> |
