A second mass (2) is rotatably mounted on the first flywheel mass (1) via a bearing arrangement (3). The two masses are flexibly coupled by a flexible link (5), which is fitted to each mass by swivelable axes (6,7). The first, or the second flywheel mass carries a static toothed rim (8) at its periphery. The first, or the second axes are carried by the toothed rim for the starter, forming the first row of axes. Pref. the toothed rim for the starter is firmly coupled to a holder (9) of the axes. The flywheel mass with the toothed rim may contain a peripheral edge strip (12), axially offset in the direction of the other flywheel mass.
