ANTIANGINAL DRUG COMPRISING NITROXY DERIVATIVE AS ACTIVE INGREDIENT

Constitution: a composition for treating or preventing angina pectoris which comprises as the active ingredient a nitroxy derivative having the following general formula (I) or a pharmacologically acceptable salt of the same: R<1>NH - A - ONO2, wherein R<1> represents hydrogen or C1-6 alkanoyl; and A represents C2-8 alkylene or C2-4 alkylene substituted by C2-5 alkylene, provided that the alkylene substituents bind to the same carbon atom of the C2-4 alkylene group. Effect: because of having an excellent antianginal effect, the nitroxy derivative or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof is useful as a preventive or remedy for angina pectoris.
