A conveyor conveys the seed from a container to the riser pipe (5) and distributes it by compressed air via a baffle (13) surface to branches (7). the top end of the riser pipe has a nozzle type narrower part (12). The riser pipe contains an elongated, drop-shaped flow or displacement body. Between the baffle surface and the top end of the flow and or displacement body is a nozzle type constriction which has a passage between the inner part of the riser pipe and the outer part of the constriction.
