Insulating housing for electric plug connector

The housing is arranged around a plug connector (2). The plug connector (2) connects at least two electric leads (1) via a coupling element corresponding to the plug connector (2), to at least one further electric lead. The insulating housing has at least one passage for the electric leads (1) to pass through. The plug may be e.g. a jack plug or a plug sleeve. The housing may be formed in two parts with an inner sleeve (4) and an outer sleeve (3). The latter (3) may have a locking connection (5). The outer sleeve (3) may have two collapsible halves (6,7) and a hinge between them.
