The device is fitted to the grain elevator (1) between the sifter (2) and the grain storage container (3) or trailer. A belt conveyor or bucket chain (5) has transverse bars (7) for propelling the grain out of a tube (4) between the two trapezoidal plates (9) of a capacitor. The taper of the trapezoid is in the direction of flow so that the sensitivity is variable in accordance with the throughput. The plates are inclined so that frictionless flow is guaranteed.
