Device for mounting a vehicle signalling light

The signal lamp (3) is fitted in a hole in the body of the motor vehicle and screws are used to hold it in place. The screws (5) enter a mounting (4) that forms a stop for the screw. An elastic coupling (6) connects the lamp components to the screw mounting (4). The elastic coupling has a coil spring that is compressed as the screw is tightened. The screw is at the back of the lamp bulb (32). The external face (31) of the signal lamp is pressed against a sealing ring (12) as the screw is tightened, to prevent ingress of dirt or moisture where the lamp penetrates the vehicle bodywork (1).
