The shuttering element comprises an angled structure with horizontal arm and vertical arm. An angular element (1) has a front plastics foam plate (4,5) which with the same dimensions as the vertical arm of the angular element is off-set from same. The plastics foam plate has a tongue and groove along the edge. The angular element can be a cladding element.
