The two coaxial parts of the torsion damper are relatively rotatable against elastic damping and centering members. They are fitted with mutually engaging parts (118,119a), ie. at least one tooth (118) slidable into a corresponding recess (119c) of the other coaxial part. There is at least one elastically deformable insert (120) between the tooth and the recess, located on a friction drive (122b) opened against one coaxial part. Pref. the two coaxial parts containing a limb (110), and a hub drive (111) annularly fitted to the hub, with the tooth at the outer hub periphery and the recess on the inner drive periphery.
