Bicycle frame and adjustable saddle post

An adapter to be (10) inserted non-twistably into the hold of the frame top tube (3) is used to vary the length of the tube (3). One end of the adapter tube carries a cross-tube (11) to take the adjustable saddle post (13). The top tube of the frame slopes down from steering tube to rear wheel, and is angled upwards and extends there horizontally towards the rear wheel. The top tube strikes a weakly ascending centre tube which is arranged halfway along the bottom tube (4) and takes the adapter tube (10) specified. The saddle post non-twistably engages the rear wheel fork (7), and runs parallel to the centre tube. Additional components include pedal bearing and saddle tube (6), plus an arrester (12) used to hold the adjusted setting of the adapter tube, and also a restraint (14) to hold the saddle at adjusted user height.
