The rotor has a sheet-metal body (2) held together by rings pressed on to its shaft (1) and recessed to accept the bars (3) of the cage which are joined together by short-circuit rings (4), each secured in the radial direction by a support ring (6) fixed to the shaft. The pressed rings are spaced axially from the body and at the same time constitute the support ring. To ensure ventilation of the winding head, distance bars (7) are provided between the surface of the body and the support ring, with which preferably they are formed in one piece. |
