The device (30) is arranged in an air channel (3), through which intake air flows to a combustion engine. It comprises a support element (12) which is manufactured from resin and is arranged in the air channel. A temperature sensor (31) is located within the support element. A pair of metallic conducting elements is embedded in the support element and connected to the temperature sensor. A cast section is formed at the support element in such way, that it extends along the intake air flow, and accommodates the temperature sensor and the pair of conducting elements. One conducting element comprises a first section which extends into the cast section along the air flow, and a second section which extends into the support element.
