Expansion anchor with holder at rear end

The expansion section starts at the front end and extends longitudinally over a part of the stem (2) of the expansion anchor (1). The expansion section consists of a longitudinal groove (5) with a bottom portion rising towards the front side end, into which a slidable expander (6) is inserted. The expander serves for anchoring by a reaction resin fed via a bore (9), activated by driving in the expansion anchor with a wedge-shaped tip (21) at its end. Pref. the expansion anchor comprises a thread starting at its front end and extending over its expansion section.
