The pair of electrodes (12) is arranged in such a manner, that the electrical pulses (14) emanating from the electrodes are focussed on the detrusor muscle (20). The pair of electrodes can be so arranged, that the electrical pulses emanating from the electrodes are focussed on the inside of the bladder (18). The pulse frequency amounts to 0.1 to 100 Hz, pref. 0.1 to 1 Hz. The current strength used amounts to between 10 and 100 mA, pref. 50 mA.
