The information display sign 10 has a base plate with holes 12 for mounting purposes. A number of display fields 13-19 are provided that are used to display alpha numeric information that can be changed. Each of the display symbols are of a seven segment type 26 created by segments 27 that have locating pegs that fit into holes 34 in the base. The segments are bonded into position. A number of fixed information symbols are also on the front surface 22-25.
