The process involves forming a pre-assembled unit from input and output shafts. A valve sleeve is then mounted in an axially fixed position, but which also allows rotation. The pre-assembled unit is then inserted into the sleeve, whereby the unit is rotationally fixed, but is able to move axially, and is positioned with the output shaft lying against the sleeve. The pre-assembled servo-valve is then actuated using hydraulic pressure, and the valve is centred by twisting the sleeve. Finally, the unit is pressed down into the sleeve, so that the output shaft and the sleeve are pressed against each other in the overlapping region. |
