The press has a processing unit which includes product guide cylinders feeding the running products through the unit and folding the products during the feed. The laying-out unit (2) of a sheet printing press has folding modules (3, 5) after it. At least one of these is integrated in the feed path of the conveyor belts (9, 10). At least one of the folding modules may have a separate revs.-compensated drive. Fixed products may be transferred to a transfer cylinder (15) in one of the folding modules (3) against the conveyor belts (9, 10). The transfer cylinder may operate in combination with a product guide cylinder (16, 17).
