Stable aq. mixt. of microbicidal bis guanidinium salts (II) and opt-nonionic surfactant (III) anion-formers (IV) and formulation aids is claimed. The mixt. shows no turbidity or ppte. in the presence of sulphate ions, and is used as a disinfectant, preservative or plant protectant. The mixt. contains an aq. mixt. of 5 and/or 6-membered N-contg. heterocyclic cpds. (opt. contg. additional N atoms and an O or S atom) of formula (I) or its salts. The ratio of (II):(I):(III):(IV) is 1:0.05-0.5:0-0.5:0-0.5. a = 0-2; b = 3-5; c = 1-3; d-f = 0 or 1; g = 1-3; R2 = H, O, COOH or opt. substd. alkyl.
