Scanner probe exchange arrangement for coordinate measuring apparatus

The exchange arrangement is for a probe which measures vertical displacement, in the direction of the slender scanner shaft (5). The displacement is of an amount which is noticeably larger than their mutual distance. The bearing has three bearing positions (22,23,24), with respectively two bearing points, and the straight lines (g1-g3), which connect the bearing points, lie in at least two different planes displaced in the direction of the scanner shaft (5). The bearing points (e.g. 12a,13b) lying in one plane, support the scanner in the direction of the scanner shaft, and the bearing points (24a,24b), in the second plane displaced to the first plane, support the scanner essentially vertically to the scanner shaft.
