Process for the hydrogénation of aromatics with chlorine injection on noble metal based catalysts

Hydrogenation of aromatics in a charge of initial B.Pt. greater than 100 degrees C and contg. at least 10% wt. of aromatic cpds., in the presence of a noble metal catalyst contg. at least one halogen, at 200-450 degrees C, 1-25 MPa, a VVH of 0.1-10h<-1>, and a vol. ratio H2/charge of 100-2000. the process is carried out in the presence of 0.5-500 ppm (relative to charge) of chlorine.
