Storage box for jewellery, especially rings

The box consists of a container (1) with cylindrical cavity (2). The cavity's opening is closed by a cylindrical plug (3). The outside of the container can be cylindrical or be shaped for display purposes. Container and plug are made from a soft plastics, preferably from a plastics foam. A piece of jewellery, is placed at the bottom of the container, after which the plug is pushed in to engage with the jewellery. The plug is dimensioned so that it is kept in position by friction.
