Flexible hose with composite core

A flexible hose (10) comprising a composite polymeric core (16) with a degradation-resistant liner (20) and a thermoplastic elastomeric liner coating (12), the core preferably being surrounded by a protective sheath (18). The degradation-resistant liner (20) is optionally a polyolefin or fluorine-containing polyolefin and can have a convoluted inside surface. The composite core (16) can optionally include a vapor barrier and leak indicator, and a tracer can be provided to indicate twisting of the sheath.
