A xerographic perfecting apparatus has xerographic belts 59, 63 which are exposed to opposite sides of an original 46 supported between transparent platens 47 and 48, the latent images so formed are developed and transferred at stations 72 and 62 to opposite sides of a web 71. The distance from imaging station 101 to station 72 is less than the distance from station 103 to the station 62 by the distance between stations 72 and 62 to preserve correct registration of the images on both sides of the web 71. The developed images are fixed simultaneously on both sides of the web 71. In other embodiments drums replace the belts, the diameters of the drums being unequal Fig. 2 (not shown) or equal Fig.3 (not shown). In the latter case the images are projected sequentially. |
