The hand gun (1) has an integrated signal receiver unit (2,3) with a signal evaluation unit (4), which transmits a signal into the weapon after evaluating an encoded received signal. The signal transmitted into the weapon affects functionally important components of the gun. The transmitted signal acts upon a destruction unit (6) in the gun or triggers a mechanical or electronic blocking device inside the gun. The destruction unit can be a pyrotechnic arrangement. The signal can be passed to the gun via satellite, radio or similar from an authorised system.
