The system consists of a movable cam segment in whose lower part is assembled, under an angle to its symmetry axis, with a cylindrical plunger, which plunger moving through the transverse opening of the rotating engine shaft, with the help of reciprocating shaft sliding inside the longitudinal opening of the above mentioned rotating shaft, produces the gradual angular movement of the cam segment (mechanical means) between two positions ("out" position- "in" position) -movement which cam be achived, but not gradually, with the help of hydraulic means-succeeding, in this way, in the variation of the basic characteristics of the operational valve cycle and the drastic improvement of engine efficiency. |
