METHOD OF PURIFYING WASTE SLURRIES FROM GOLD MINES TO REMOVE CYANIDES

摘要

FIELD: hydrometallurgy of rare metals. SUBSTANCE: slurry is blown through with carbon dioxide-containing smoke fumes obtained on burning of hydrocarbon-containing fuel until pH 5.0-7.5 is achieved. Thereupon major amount of simple cyanides is blown off and slurry is treated with hypochlorite to detoxify complex cyanides. EFFECT: increased purification degree and reduced input of detoxifying reagent.
