Stereoscopic anamorphic printed image reproduction system

A first anamorphically-distorted image (A1) is printed on the left-hand side of the page or cover of a book etc. (1). A second anamorphically-distorted image (A2) is similarly printed on the opposite side of the same page, in precise registration with the first. The distortion of the second image is in the opposite sense to that of the first, such that the first image corresponds to viewing with the left eye and the second image to viewing with the right eye. The image is designed to be viewed with the page held vertically close to and between the two eyes.
