SUBSTANCE: solid-fuel gas generator has combustion chamber, solid-fuel unit with blind passage supported by perforated diaphragm with flexible diaphragm where ignition device is mounted. Ignition device is made in the form of bush having inner stepped bore and embracing the heating coil inside which one supply wire is laid. Wire is connected to stop mounted in stepped bore. EFFECT: enhanced reliability including operation on fuel mixtures containing soluble components; serviceability of gas generator does not depend on depth of submergence.
