FIELD: portable gas danger alarms operating with efficient battery or cell power sources at a voltage of about 3 V. SUBSTANCE: the device has a differential output and a power source, first voltage divider, using a resistor and a gas composition sensor, second and third resistance voltage dividers, operational amplifier, regulating transistor, secondary reference voltage source and a summer. The device components are coupled by compensation circuits for calibration of the gas composition sensor current against a primary standard at a low-voltage level of supply voltage.
