A conduit body (1) includes a first portion (2) connected to an inlet circuit of the engine, and a second portion (3) connectable to its exhaust manifold. The conduit is blocked by a sleeve (5) whose interior defines a cylinder (6), and which includes openings (7,8) in communication with the first and second conduit portions.A piston (9) is located within the cylinder, with a control mechanism (10) which regulates its position to adjust the size of the fluid flow passage through the cylinder between the first and second parts of the conduit. The control mechanism includes a membrane (13) responsive to pressure in the inlet circuit, which is attached to a shaft (12) of the piston. |
