The toy has a lower plate (1) fixed to the ground. A coil spring (3) is fixed to this plate and fixed to an upper plate (2). A seat (7) is fixed to the upper plate which supports the simulated body of an animal (9). The plates are made by moulding and have semi-circular ramps which hold the ends of the spring. They are held in place by screws through holes in the plates. Handles (9a) and foot rests (9b) are fixed to the animal's head.
