A compressor (30) has a first outlet (31) connected with a three-way valve (33). One outlet of the valve connects to a distributor (35). An outlet from the distributor is connected to the compressed air inlet "A" of the breathing apparatus. The second outlet (32) from the compressor supplies compressed air to an oxygen concentrator (PSA type) (40). A non-return valve (41) protects the system.The three-way valve also connects with an inlet of the concentrator and also has a protective non-return valve in the line. The inlet to the concentrator is also connected to the outlet of the distributor which allows only a part of the air entering the three-way valve to pass to the "compressed" air outlet. The excess air is sent to the concentrator. A protective non-return valve (43) is placed between the distributor and the concentrator. A small buffer capacitor ensures stability of pressure in the system. |
