摘要 FIELD: engineering physics, in particular, devices for examination of internal structure of objects. SUBSTANCE: this invention is intended for creation of a fiber optics interferometer, which, when used as a component of the device for optical coherent tomography, makes it possible to examine media to a sufficient depth, for which the typical time of variation of characteristics or position relative to the optical probe is low, for instance, as at investigation of tissues in vivo. This invention is also intended for development of a fiber optics piezoelectric transducer suitable for use in a fiber optics interferometer to provide the necessary depth of scanning of the mentioned media. The fiber optics interferometer in the form of a fiber optics controlled delay line fulfils the function of the fiber part of the interferometer arm, which makes it possible practically without any time lag to change the optical length of the interferometer arm and, consequently, the difference of the arms optical lengths at least by several dozens of interferometer wavelengths. The developed fiber optics piezoelectric transducer is made in the form of a fiber optics piezoelectric controlled delay line and has a piezoceramic plate with electrodes and optical fiber positioned on its opposite surfaces. It is good practice to make the plate in the form of a disk and lay the fiber in the form of a spiral, which makes it possible to change the length of optical fiber within a wide range without any time lag at small dimensions of the transducer.
